Oregon High School Basketball - Gresham can't hold off Hood River Valley
December 7, 2021: Gresham, OR 97030 The Hood River Valley Eagles basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Gresham Gophers to 46 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Helens for a non-league contest on Friday, December 10. Hood River Valley will battle a Lions team coming off a 71-20 non-league loss to West Albany (Albany, OR). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.
The Gophers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wells (Portland, OR). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Wells nudged Sherwood (Sherwood, OR), 46-29, in a non-league contest.
