Liberty Leopards (Youngstown, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH), 39-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Liberty upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Leopards travel to Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, December 10. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the Mineral Ridge Rams (Mineral Ridge, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 14. McDonald will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
