Washington, DC High School Basketball - Anacostia overwhelms Surrattsville
December 7, 2022: Washington, DC 20020 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Anacostia Indians (Washington, DC) and the visiting Surrattsville Hornets (Clinton, MD), saw Anacostia's basketball squad wallop Surrattsville by a count of 72-37.
With the victory, Anacostia upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Indians host Arundel Christian (Hanover, MD) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 9. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Arundel Christian lost 55-53 in their recent league challenge against Springdale Prep (New Windsor, MD)
Next up, the Hornets play the Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering Panthers (Washington, DC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 9. Surrattsville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 73-45 non-league loss to Paul Public Charter International (Washington, DC).
