Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Avonworth trounces Carrick
December 7, 2022: Pittsburgh, PA 15237 The Avonworth Antelopes (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Carrick Raiders (Pittsburgh, PA), 85-35 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Antelopes (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Shady Side Academy (Pittsburgh, PA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Shady Side Academy walloped Erie (Erie, PA), 74-46, in a non-league test.
The Raiders now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Chartiers Valley for a non-league test on Friday, December 9. Carrick will encounter a Colts squad coming off a 70-39 non-league win over Peters Township (McMurray, PA). The Colts record now stands at 2-0.
