December 7, 2022: Peoria, IL 61614 The Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL) basketball knocked off the host Peoria Notre Dame Irish (Peoria, IL), 63-49 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Crusaders (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Northridge (Niles, IL). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Northridge notched a victory over Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL), 53-12, in a non-league test.
The Irish now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Yorkville Christian for a non-league test on Friday, December 9. Peoria Notre Dame will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 72-69 non-league win over Universal (Bridgeview, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-5.
