Sahuaro Cougars (Tucson, AZ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Marana Tigers (Tucson, AZ), 70-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sahuaro upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to American Leadership Academy (Queen Creek, AZ) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Monday, December 12. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 5-5. American Leadership Academy won 58-29 in their recent non-league bout against Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Buena Colts (Sierra Vista, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Marana will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Colts go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 72-52 non-league loss to Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ).
