Illinois High School Basketball - Taft nips Northside
December 7, 2022: Chicago, IL 60625 Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Northside Mustangs (Chicago, IL), 60-55 in a league bout.
With the win, Taft upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Eagles host Lake View (Chicago, IL) to play the Wildcats in a Chicago Public - White North bout on Saturday, December 10. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Lake View won 67-40 in their recent league bout against Chicago Sullivan (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Foreman Hornets (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public - White North bout, on Friday, December 9. Northside will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 62-29 league loss to Lake View (Chicago, IL).
