The Yellow Jackets now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Haughton for a 5A District 1 battle on Tuesday, December 13. Byrd will battle a Buccaneers team coming off a 67-33 non-league win over Northwood (Shreveport, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 7-1.
The Eagles (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Anacoco (Anacoco, LA). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, Anacoco dropped by Hathaway (Jennings, LA), 43-27, in a non-league battle.
