December 7, 2022: Kutztown, PA 19530 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Kutztown Cougars (Kutztown, PA) and the visiting Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils (Shenandoah, PA), saw Kutztown's basketball squad hold off Shenandoah Valley by a tally of 42-38.
With the victory, Kutztown improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars host Pequea Valley (Kinzers, PA) to play the Braves in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Blue Devils play the Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA) in a Schuylkill County 3 challenge, on Friday, December 16. Shenandoah Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
