Florida High School Basketball - DeLand knocked off by Lake Highland Prep
December 7, 2022: Orlando, FL 32803 The Lake Highland Prep Highlanders basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting DeLand Bulldogs to 40 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Highlanders now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eustis for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Lake Highland Prep will meet a Panthers team coming off a 61-50 non-league win over East Ridge (Clermont, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.
The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Spruce Creek (Port Orange, FL). The Hawks enter the contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Spruce Creek was outscored by Flagler Palm Coast (Palm Coast, FL), 44-41, in a non-league contest.
