In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Hernando Leopards (Brooksville, FL) basketball squad felled the host Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL), by a margin of 51-39.

The Leopards (5-0) will now prepare for their outing against Cypress Creek (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Coyotes go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Cypress Creek thwarted Pasco (Dade City, FL), 61-28, in a league outing.
