The Tri-County Academy Rebels (Flora, MS) basketball nipped the visiting Central Holmes Christian Trojans (Lexington, MS), 68-61 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Rebels (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Parklane Academy (McComb, MS). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Parklane Academy was tipped by Florence (Florence, MS), 47-43, in a non-league test.

The Trojans now own a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Deer Creek for a MAIS 3A District 2 test on Friday, December 8.
