California High School Basketball - Corning crushes Central Valley

Corning Cardinals (Corning, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Central Valley Falcons (Shasta Lake, CA), 66-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Corning upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to West Valley (Cottonwood, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 3-3. West Valley won 56-54 in their recent non-league bout against Redding Christian (Palo Cedro, CA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Redding Christian Lions (Palo Cedro, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Central Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 56-54 non-league loss to West Valley (Cottonwood, CA).
