December 7, 2023: St. Paul, MN 55117 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Como Park Cougars (St. Paul, MN) and the visiting Hope Academy (Minneapolis, MN), saw Como Park's basketball squad wallop Hope Academy by a count of 76-52.
With the victory, Como Park upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN) to play the Warriors in a AAA Section 3 challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Two Rivers lost 88-74 in their recent non-league challenge against Fridley (Fridley, MN)
Next up, the play the Le Sueur-Henderson/Minnesota New Country Giants (Le Sueur, MN) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 8. Hope Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Giants go into the test with a 1-1 record after their 66-64 non-league win over Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted/Holy Trinity (Howard Lake, MN).
