In Thursday's non-league outing, the Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ) basketball squad felled the visiting Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ), by a margin of 82-62.

The Thunder (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Mesa (Mesa, AZ). The Jackrabbits go into the non-league outing with a 7-1 record.

The Scorpions now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Millennium for a 5A Desert West outing on Friday, December 8. Desert Edge will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 111-26 league win over Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ). The Tigers record now stands at 7-1.
