Dixie Flyers (St. George, UT) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Westlake Thunder (Saratoga Springs, UT), 75-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dixie upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Flyers travel to Herriman (West Herriman, UT) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Herriman won 66-64 in their recent non-league bout against Brighton (Salt Lake City, UT)

Next up, the Thunder play the Brighton Bengals (Salt Lake City, UT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Westlake will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Bengals go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 66-64 non-league loss to Herriman (West Herriman, UT).
