Texas High School Basketball - Flower Mound can't hold off Irving
December 7, 2023: Flower Mound, TX 75022 The Irving Tigers basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Flower Mound Jaguars to 49 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Hills for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 7. Irving will battle a Scorpions team coming off a 52-40 non-league loss to Benbrook (Benbrook, TX). The Scorpions record now stands at 1-8.
The Jaguars (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Paschal (Fort Worth, TX). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Paschal edged Cooper (Abilene, TX), 45-34, in a non-league contest.
