California High School Basketball - Jefferson knocked off by Garey
December 7, 2023: Pomona, CA 91766 The Garey Vikings basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Jefferson Democrats to 35 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Vikings now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bernstein for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Garey will battle a Dragons team coming off a 87-14 league win over Belmont (Los Angeles, CA). The Dragons record now stands at 9-0.
The Democrats (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Diego Rivera (Los Angeles, CA). The Huskies enter the Exposition contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Diego Rivera ran past Maywood Academy (Maywood, CA), 75-45, in a non-league contest.
