In Thursday's non-league outing, the Garner Trojans (Garner, NC) basketball squad edged the host Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC), by a margin of 55-52.

The Trojans (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against South Garner (Garner, NC). The Titans go into the 4A Greater Neuse River outing with a 4-0 record.

The Mustangs now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Green Hope for a 4A Southeast Wake outing on Tuesday, December 12. Middle Creek will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 79-60 non-league loss to Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 1-5.
