Red Hook Raiders (Red Hook, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Millbrook Blazers (Millbrook, NY), 80-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Red Hook upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Raiders travel to Rondout Valley (Accord, NY) to play the Ganders in a Section 9 Mid Hudson II bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Ganders go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Rondout Valley lost 52-45 in their recent non-league bout against Fallsburg (Fallsburg, NY)

Next up, the Blazers play the Pine Plains Bombers (Pine Plains, NY) in a Section 9 Mid Hudson IV bout, on Monday, December 11. Millbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bombers go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 63-42 non-league win over Hunter-Tannersville (Tannersville, NY).
