December 7, 2023: Newkirk, OK 74647 The Ripley Warriors (Ripley, OK) basketball crushed the host Newkirk Tigers (Newkirk, OK), 69-21 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Warriors (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Tonkawa (Tonkawa, OK). The Buccaneers go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Tonkawa walloped Perry (Perry, OK), 60-37, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Aline-Cleo for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Newkirk will battle a Cougars team coming off a 89-15 non-league loss to Cashion (Cashion, OK). The Cougars record now stands at 1-7.
