Kansas High School Basketball - Pratt knocked off by Wellington
December 7, 2023: Wellington, KS 67152 The Wellington Crusaders basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Pratt Greenbacks to 36 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Crusaders now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rose Hill for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail IV contest on Tuesday, December 12. Wellington will battle a Rockets team coming off a 54-32 non-league loss to Hesston (Hesston, KS). The Rockets record now stands at 3-1.
The Greenbacks (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against El Dorado (El Dorado, KS). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, El Dorado was defeated by Trinity (Hutchinson, KS), 49-47, in a non-league contest.
