West Virginia High School Basketball - Wesley Christian ripped by Shady Spring
December 7, 2023: Shady Spring, WV 25918 The Shady Spring Tigers basketball team scored 80 points and held the visiting Wesley Christian Circuit Riders to 30 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Morgantown for a non-league contest on Friday, December 15. Shady Spring will meet a Mohigans team coming off a 103-41 non-league win over Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV). The Mohigans record now stands at 3-0.
The Circuit Riders (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Huntington Prep (Huntington, WV). The Kings enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Huntington Prep triumphed over Archbishop Wood (Warminster, PA), 73-70, in a non-league contest.
