Tri Titans (Straughn, IN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Southwestern Spartans (Shelbyville, IN), 47-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Tri upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Titans host Shenandoah (Middletown, IN) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Raiders come into the bout with a record of 3-0. Shenandoah won 54-51 in their recent league bout against Cowan (Muncie, IN)

Next up, the Spartans play the Trinity Lutheran Cougars (Seymour, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Southwestern will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 58-26 non-league loss to Hauser (Hope, IN).
