Illinois High School Basketball - Bloomington nips Urbana
December 7, 2023: Urbana, IL 61801 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Bloomington Purple Raiders (Bloomington, IL) and the host Urbana Tigers (Urbana, IL), saw Bloomington's basketball squad hold off Urbana by a tally of 54-49.
With the victory, Bloomington improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Purple Raiders travel to Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Tigers play the Danville Vikings (Danville, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Urbana will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
