The Mattoon Greenwave basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Mt. Zion Braves to 65 in the Greenwave league triumph on Thursday.

The Greenwave now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Taylorville for a bout on Saturday, December 16.

Next up, the Braves play the Charleston Trojans (Charleston, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Mt. Zion will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
