Arizona High School Basketball - Agua Fria crushes West Point

December 7, 2023: Avondale, AZ 85323

Agua Fria Owls (Avondale, AZ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ), 53-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Agua Fria upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Owls host Cibola (Yuma, AZ) to clash with the Raiders in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Cibola won 47-42 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ)

Next up, the Dragons clash with the Highland Hawks (Gilbert, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. West Point will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 51-50 non-league loss to Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ).
