Delaware High School Basketball - Padua Academy nudges Appoquinimink
December 7, 2023: West Middletown, DE 19709 Padua Academy (Wilmington, DE) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Appoquinimink Jaguars (West Middletown, DE), 69-65 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Padua Academy upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The travel to Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE) to clash with the Riders in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Riders go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Caesar Rodney lost 41-23 in their recent non-league bout against Delaware Military Academy (Wilmington, DE)
Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Archmere Academy Auks (Claymont, DE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Appoquinimink will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Auks go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 39-22 non-league loss to Villa Maria Academy (Malvern, PA).
