Michigan High School Basketball - Imlay City holds off Bad Axe
December 7, 2023: Imlay City, MI 48444 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Imlay City Spartans (Imlay City, MI) and the visiting Bad Axe Hatchets (Bad Axe, MI), saw Imlay City's basketball squad hold off Bad Axe by a tally of 45-42.
With the victory, Imlay City improves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Clio (Clio, MI) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 11. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Clio lost 57-14 in their recent league challenge against Goodrich (Goodrich, MI)
Next up, the Hatchets confront the Ubly Bearcats (Ubly, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Bad Axe will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 40-25 non-league win over Unionville-Sebewaing (Sebewaing, MI).
