The Carolina Christian Lions basketball team (Locust, NC), dropped 39-24 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Grace Academy Lions (Matthews, NC)

The Lions now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Liberty Preparatory Christian for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12. Grace Academy will battle a Patriots team coming off a 42-25 league win over Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 6-2.

The Lions (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC). The Knights come into the Metro Area battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Lee Park Prep beat Valor Preparatory Academy (Concord, NC), 52-15, in a non-league battle.
