South Dakota High School Basketball - Corsica/Stickney can't hold off Chamberlain
December 7, 2023: Chamberlain, SD 57325 The Chamberlain Cubs basketball team scored 35 points and held the visiting Corsica/Stickney Jaguars to 33 in the Cubs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cubs now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Todd County for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Chamberlain will battle a Falcons team coming off a 23-20 non-league loss to Valentine (Valentine, NE). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.
The Jaguars (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Colome (Colome, SD). The Cowboys enter the B Region 5 contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Colome was nudged by Tripp-Delmont/Armour (Armour, SD), 44-14, in a league contest.
