December 7, 2023: Shelbyville, TX 75973 The Jefferson Bulldogs basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Shelbyville Dragons to 39 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chireno for a non-league contest on Friday, December 8. Jefferson will battle a Owls team coming off a 45-42 non-league win over Gladewater (Gladewater, TX). The Owls record now stands at 8-3.
The Dragons (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Kilgore (Kilgore, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Kilgore was defeated by Bullard (Bullard, TX), 49-15, in a non-league contest.
