California High School Soccer - La Serna nudges South Hills
December 7, 2023: Whittier, CA 90605 La Serna Lancers (Whittier, CA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting South Hills Huskies (West Covina, CA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Lancers confront the Rosary Academy Royals (Fullerton, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 11. La Serna will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Royals enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 1-1 non-league Troy (Fullerton, CA).
The Huskies now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Corona del Mar for a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. South Hills will confront a Sea Kings team coming off a 10-1 non-league win over Tustin (Tustin, CA). The Sea Kings record now stands at 5-0.
