California High School Basketball - Venture Academy tops Golden Valley
December 7, 2023: Merced, CA 95341 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Venture Academy Mustangs (Stockton, CA) and the host Golden Valley Cougars (Merced, CA), saw Venture Academy's basketball squad knock off Golden Valley by a tally of 77-63.
With the victory, Venture Academy improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Mountain House (Mountain House, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 11. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Mountain House won 82-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Kimball (Tracy, CA)
Next up, the Cougars play the Davis Spartans (Modesto, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Golden Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 58-40 non-league loss to Turlock (Turlock, CA).
