December 7, 2023: Downey, CA 90241 Clovis Cougars (Clovis, CA) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Warren Bears (Downey, CA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars confront the Palos Verdes Sea Kings (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 8. Clovis will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record. The Sea Kings enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, CA).
The Bears now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Los Alamitos for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. Warren will confront a Griffins team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Santa Ana (Santa Ana, CA). The Griffins record now stands at 0-4.
