The Independence Patriots (Charlotte, NC) basketball were winner over the visiting A.C. Reynolds Rockets (Asheville, NC), 67-49 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Palisades for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 10. Independence will play a Pumas team coming off a 62-50 non-league loss to Lancaster (Lancaster, SC). The Pumas record now stands at 3-3.
