Magnolia West Mustangs (Magnolia, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Alief Taylor Lions (Houston, TX), 45-37 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Magnolia West upgrades its record to 4-12 on the year. The Mustangs host Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 8-6. Kingwood Park lost 50-34 in their recent non-league match against Tomball Memorial (Tomball, TX)

The Lions now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Bend Hightower for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10.
