Avon Orioles (Avon, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian Braves (Fort Wayne, IN), 52-49 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Avon upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Orioles host Terre Haute South Vigo (Terre Haute, IN) to face the Braves in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 11. The Braves enter the match with a record of 1-1. Terre Haute South Vigo lost 55-54 in their recent non-league match against Mooresville (Mooresville, IN)

The Braves now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Norwell for a non-league match on Saturday, December 14.
