The Genoa-Hugo/Karval Pirates basketball squad (Hugo, CO), was nudged 34-30 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Briggsdale Falcons (Briggsdale, CO)

With the victory, Briggsdale advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Falcons travel to Hi-Plains (Seibert, CO) to meet the Patriots in a non-league battle on Saturday, December 14. The Patriots enter the battle with a record of 0-2.
