In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Willows Honkers basketball team scored a good 51-41 win over the Burney Raiders.

The Honkers (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against West Valley (Cottonwood, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, West Valley dropped by Woodland Christian (Woodland, CA), 58-47, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Etna Lions (Etna, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Burney will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 59-27 non-league win over Tulelake (Tulelake, CA).
