Ohio High School Basketball - Cardington-Lincoln overwhelms Elgin
December 7, 2024: Cardington, OH 43315 The Cardington-Lincoln Pirates basketball team scored 102 points and limited the visiting Elgin Comets to 42 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Pirates now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Fredericktown for a Knox Morrow game on Wednesday, December 11. Cardington-Lincoln will confront a Freddies team coming off a 81-46 non-league win over Wynford (Bucyrus, OH). The Freddies record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Elgin falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Ridgedale (Morral, OH) to confront the Rockets in a Northwest Central game on Friday, December 13. The Rockets go into the game with a record of 1-1.
