In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Union Hill Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 45-39 triumph over the Carlisle Indians.

The Bulldogs (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Harleton (Harleton, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Harleton was tipped by Neches (Neches, TX), 54-36, in a non-league contest.
