December 7, 2024: Williamsburg, KY 40769 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Whitley County Colonels basketball team scored a big 86-50 triumph over the Cosby Eagles.
The Colonels (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Middlesboro smashed Lynn Camp (Corbin, KY), 81-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Grainger Grizzlies (Rutledge, TN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Cosby will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Grizzlies go into the contest with a 1-7 record after their 61-50 non-league loss to South Greene (Greeneville, TN).
