Minnesota High School Basketball - Providence Academy holds off Cotter
December 7, 2024: Plymouth, MN 55446 The Providence Academy Lions basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Cotter Ramblers to 53 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lions now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Rockford for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 10. Providence Academy will confront a Rockets team coming off a 82-51 league win over Brooklyn Center (Brooklyn Center, MN). The Rockets record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Cotter moves to 1-3 on the season. The Ramblers host Fillmore Central (Harmony, MN) to battle the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 10. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Fillmore Central won 57-47 in their recent league challenge against Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN)
