In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Ponder Lions basketball team scored a big 62-31 triumph over the Era Hornets.

The Lions (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Aubrey (Aubrey, TX). The Chaparrals go into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Aubrey was trounced by Grapevine Faith Christian (Grapevine, TX), 66-62, in a non-league contest.
