Georgia High School Basketball - Valwood toppled by Frederica Academy
December 7, 2024: St. Simons Island, GA 31522 Frederica Academy (St. Simons Island, GA) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Valwood Valiants (Valdosta, GA), 83-71 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Frederica Academy advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The host Wayne Christian Academy (Jesup, GA) to face the Eagle in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. The Eagle enter the match with a record of 2-4.
The Valiants now own a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lanier County for a non-league match on Monday, December 9. Valwood will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 61-35 non-league win over Berrien (Nashville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.
