Tascosa Rebels (Amarillo, TX) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Hillcrest Panthers (Dallas, TX), 72-56 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Tascosa advances its record to 9-4 on the year. The Rebels host Monterey (Lubbock, TX) to face the Plainsmen in a 5A Region I District 3 match on Friday, December 13. The Plainsmen enter the match with a record of 5-10.

The Panthers now own a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sunset for a 5A Region II District 13 match on Tuesday, December 10. Hillcrest will face a Bison squad coming off a 62-48 non-league loss to Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep (Dallas, TX). The Bison record now stands at 4-7.
