December 7, 2024: Rockaway Beach, OR 97136 Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates (Rockaway Beach, OR) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Horizon Christian Hawks (Tualatin, OR), 63-50 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Neah-Kah-Nie advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Pirates travel to Taft (Lincoln City, OR) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Monday, December 9. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 1-1. Taft lost 64-43 in their recent non-league match against Catlin Gabel (Portland, OR)
The Hawks now own a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gervais for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. Horizon Christian will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 33-19 non-league win over Clatskanie (Clatskanie, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.
