Illinois High School Basketball - Wheaton North holds off Huntley
December 7, 2024: Wheaton, IL 60187 The Wheaton North Falcons basketball team scored 44 points and limited the visiting Huntley Red Raiders to 38 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Falcons now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they host St. Charles East for a DuKane game on Wednesday, December 11. Wheaton North will confront a Fighting Saints team coming off a 42-41 league win over Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL). The Fighting Saints record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Huntley falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Red raiders host Jacobs (Algonquin, IL) to confront the Golden Eagles in a Fox Valley game on Wednesday, December 11. The Golden Eagles go into the game with a record of 5-1. Jacobs won 71-31 in their recent non-league game against Corliss (Chicago, IL)
