Illinois High School Basketball - Marist overwhelms Hyde Park
December 7, 2024: Chicago, IL 60655 The Marist RedHawks basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Hyde Park Thunderbirds to 31 in the RedHawks non-league triumph on Saturday.
The RedHawks now have a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Benet Academy for a East Suburban Catholic game on Friday, December 13. Marist will confront a Redwings team coming off a 64-36 non-league win over Niles West (Skokie, IL). The Redwings record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Hyde Park falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Phillips (Chicago, IL) to confront the Wildcats in a Chicago Public - Red South game on Tuesday, December 10. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 2-4. Phillips won 51-45 in their recent non-league game against Brooks (Chicago, IL)
